At CAFCO, we provide a range of assessments designed to clarify strengths and challenges, identify diagnoses when appropriate, and guide evidence-based recommendations for home, school, and work settings. Each assessment includes clinical interviews, standardized testing, and a written report with tailored recommendations.
A psychoeducational or neuropsychological assessment evaluates learning, attention, memory, and overall cognitive functioning to better understand how an individual learns and processes information.
These assessments can help identify learning disorders, ADHD, giftedness, intellectual strengths or weaknesses, and other factors that impact academic or daily functioning.
Results are summarized in a comprehensive report outlining key findings and specific, evidence-based strategies to support learning, organization, and success across environments. When appropriate, CAFCO can also collaborate with schools to help implement recommendations.
An ASD assessment evaluates social communication, interaction patterns, and behavioral differences to determine whether an individual meets criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The process typically involves interviews, observations, cognitive testing, and standardized questionnaires. The final report provides a clear summary of findings and actionable recommendations to support social, emotional, and academic development.
Please note: At this time, CAFCO does not offer ASD assessments for adults.
A psychodiagnostic assessment helps clarify emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, mood difficulties, or personality traits. This process typically includes interviews, observations, and questionnaires, and may involve cognitive testing when needed.
The final report provides a clear understanding of the client’s functioning and practical recommendations for treatment planning and daily life support.
Struggling with focus, organization, or time management as an adult? You’re not alone. At CAFCO, we now offer comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults (18+). Our team uses evidence-based tools to understand your experiences and help determine if ADHD may be part of the picture. We also have neuropsychologists working with adults (except seniors) should a broader neuropsychological assessment be required (e.g., investigating a learning disability).
