Junior Therapist

Michela provides evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and families in French and English, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Michela has experience working with a diversity of clients as they face challenges related to anxiety, trauma, mood, behavioural difficulties, parenting, learning, and neurodevelopment (e.g., ADHD, Autism). She strives to provide her clients with a warm, caring, and collaborative environment. Michela’s approach to therapy is strengths-based and focuses on clients’ individual needs, drawing from an evidence-based and integrative framework.

Prior to working at CAFCO, Michela has had training experiences working with children, adolescents and families at the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Psychological Services and Research, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Michela is currently completing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
