Speech-Language Pathologist

Marie-France Perrier provides clinical services to children and adolescents (0-18 years of age) with a range of communication disorders in both English and French. Marie-France’s clinical areas of service include language comprehension and expression, speech sound production/articulation, motor speech, voice, literacy skills, cognitive communication, social (pragmatic) communication and swallowing. She has many years of experience working in schools and in a hospital setting as part of the rehabilitation team and the preschool speech and language program at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Marie-France offers the following clinical services: screening, formal and information assessment and intervention, which may include treatment, rehabilitation, consultation and education.

Marie-France holds a Master of Health Sciences (Speech-Language Pathology) and is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She is currently completing her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Ottawa in the area of cognitive communication disorders following a brain injury.
