Sarra Rashid

Volunteer

Sarra is a fourth year Psychology & Social Work student at the University of Ottawa. She is a passionate mental health advocate with previous experience in Active & Empathetic Listening, Peer Support, Intake Work and Crisis Intervention. Sarra really enjoys volunteering as a Bilingual Crisis Responder at Kids Help Phone and is excited to also volunteer with CAFCO to continue to support children and adolescents with their mental health journeys.

She is planning to work towards completing a Master of Counselling Psychology to become a Registered Psychotherapist with the Canadian Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

In her free time, Sarra enjoys reading books about mental health, swimming and playing with her cat Zoey!
