Marielle Butovsky, M.Ed. Counseling Psychology

Registered Psychotherapist

Marielle is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She holds a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Marielle is fully bilingual and offers her clinical services in both English and French.

Marielle provides psychotherapy services to teenagers and adults facing a variety of life’s challenges. Successfully building a strong, safe and lasting therapeutic relationship with her clients is of the utmost importance to Marielle. She strives to work collaboratively with her clients while bringing warmth and compassion to each session. Marielle aims to foster and maintain a nurturing and secure environment, allowing her clients to explore opportunities to live their lives to their fullest potential.

Marielle has experience supporting clients in the areas of depression, anxiety, loss, grief, challenging life transitions, stress management, self-esteem, and personal wellbeing. Her practice is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioural and emotion-focused therapies to assist in promoting long-term, meaningful changes in her clients’ lives. As everyone is unique, Marielle individually tailors her therapy to best suit the needs of each individual.
