Dr. Geneviève Trudel, C.Psych.

Psychologist

Hi,

I’m Geneviève, a psychologist at the Child, Adolescent, and Family Centre of Ottawa. I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa and my residency at CHEO (2025). I provide evidence-based assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and families in both French and English. I support individuals with concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, emotion regulation, self-esteem, and parenting, to name a few.

My approach is strengths-based and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. I integrate attachment-based principles and aim to involve parents and caregivers whenever possible. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space that supports growth and meaningful change.

Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, painting, and being with friends and family.
