Hello! I’m a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa, currently completing my doctoral internship at CAFCO under the supervision of a registered psychologist. I strive to offer a warm, neuroaffirmative, authentic, and strengths-based approach for my clients and their families. I am passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and their families.

 

Clients I work with: Children, adolescents, parents and families.

 

Areas I can help with:

  • Therapy: Autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotion regulation, perfectionism, self-esteem, depression, social skills.
  • Assessments: Autism assessments, psychoeducational assessments (e.g., learning disabilities, ADHD, giftedness) and psychodiagnostic assessments (e.g., anxiety, depression)

 

Types of therapy provided:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)

 

Previous experience: Before joining the CAFCO team, I had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and families in various doctoral practicums, including hospital settings (Centre for Healthy Active Living at CHEO, and the Pediatric Clinic at Montfort Hospital), private practice (The Interdisciplinary Family Centre of Eastern Ontario and Ottawa Centre for Resilience), and community settings (Centre for Psychological Services and Research at the University of Ottawa).
