Geneviève Trudel

Practicum student, Clinical Psychology

Geneviève is a fourth-year student in the Clinical Psychology M.A.-Ph.D. program at the University of Ottawa. She provides evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and families in French and English, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Geneviève has experience working with a diversity of clients as they face challenges related to anxiety, developmental trauma, mood, behavioural difficulties, substance use, parenting, and neurodevelopment (e.g., ADHD, Language Disorder). She strives to provide her clients with a caring, engaging and collaborative environment. She uses an evidence-based and integrative approach while drawing from the client’s strengths. 

 Prior to working at CAFCO, Geneviève has had training experiences working with children, adolescents and families at the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Psychological Services and Research (CPSR), the Ottawa Centre for Resilience (OCFR), and the Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) Program at the Royal.
