Tessa is a student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Ottawa. She provides evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and families in English under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. Tessa’s areas of practice include mood, anxiety, behavioural, attention, and parenting difficulties. Her approach to therapy is integrative and strengths-based, drawing on different evidence-informed frameworks while tailoring services to clients’ unique needs. Tessa completed her MSc. in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary and has previous training experience in university clinics as well as in the Calgary Board of Education. Tessa’s doctoral research is looking at the development of critical learning skills in children with and without attention difficulties throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
