Meggan is a student in the Clinical Psychology M.A.-Ph.D. program at the University of Ottawa. She provides evidence-based psychological treatment services to children, adolescents and families in French and English, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Meggan has experience working with a diversity of clients as they face challenges related to emotion regulation, developmental trauma, mood, behavioural difficulties, parenting, and neurodevelopment (e.g., ADHD, learning disorders). She strives to provide her clients with a warm and collaborative environment. Meggan’s approach to therapy is strengths-based and focuses on clients’ individual needs, drawing from an evidence-based and integrative framework.
Prior to working at CAFCO, Meggan has had training experiences working with children, adolescents and families at the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Psychological Services and Research, and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Meggan’s doctoral research aims to investigate the impact of sleep on mental well-being.
