Heather Scott completed her clinical training at Saint Paul University, School of Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Spirituality. Heather has a Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality with a specialization in Couples and Family therapy and is qualified to work with adult individuals, couple and family clients, as well as adolescents and children. Heather is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
Heather supports clients in the areas of depression, anxiety, behavioural issues, relationship dynamics, trauma, grief, loss, emotional regulation, family reconciliation, attachment, and spiritual growth.
Utilizing evidenced-based practices, Heather integrates Emotionally- Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Therapy, Play and Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools. Heather works collaboratively to employ the therapeutic approach best suited to each client’s need.
