Camille Guérin-Marion is a fifth-year student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Ottawa. She provides psychological assessment and intervention services to children, adolescents, and families in English and French, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. She has experience working with a diversity of young people and their caregivers as they face challenges related to anxiety, developmental trauma, mood, behavioural difficulties, parenting, learning, and/or concerns related to neurodevelopment (e.g., autism, ADHD).
Camille strives to provide her clients with a therapeutic space in which they feel understood, empowered, and connected. She places emphasis on leveraging and building on her clients’ existing strengths as they learn to navigate difficult life circumstances and challenges. She draws on different evidence-informed frameworks, including emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioural, and systemic perspectives, to tailor services to clients’ unique needs. To date, Camille has trained in hospital, community-based, and private settings.
