Brianna Rodgers has a Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Tyndale University. She completed specialist studies in Marriage and Family Counselling and Play Therapy. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Child & Play Therapy (CACPT) and is pursuing registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Brianna has specialized training and experience working with children in areas of: trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, abuse, grief, loss, Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety, depression, bullying, social skills, acting-out behaviours, emotional regulation, ADHD, divorce, sexual behaviour problems, personality disorders and attachment disorders. She also works with individuals, couples and families across a diverse range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and relational conflicts.
Founded in evidence-based theories, Brianna uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Art Therapy and Family Systems Theory. Brianna adjusts and personalizes her treatment approach to best suit the needs of each client. Brianna works with children of all ages, starting as young as 3 years old.
